Accessibility Information – Laverick, Bothy & Coach House
Our Accessibility Commitment
We aim to provide clear, honest and comprehensive accessibility information so guests can make an informed decision before booking. Our accommodation is set within sympathetically restored rural properties, each with its own character and features. As a result, there may be some limitations, including steps, uneven surfaces, thresholds, standard-width doorways and bathrooms that are not fully adapted for wheelchair users.
We understand that every guest’s needs are different and encourage anyone with specific accessibility requirements to contact us before booking. We are always happy to discuss individual needs, answer questions and recommend the accommodation most suited to each guest wherever possible.

Our Commitment to Regenerative and Inclusive Tourism
At Stay On The Hill, we believe exceptional hospitality should leave a positive impact on both our guests and the place they come to enjoy. Our approach to regenerative tourism is centred on protecting the special character of the Northumberland countryside while helping local communities thrive. We work in harmony with the surrounding working farm, care for the landscape, support local businesses and independent producers, and encourage guests to explore responsibly through walking and low-impact travel wherever possible.
We believe tourism should contribute positively to the places it touches. By encouraging visitors to stay longer, discover lesser-known attractions and support local cafés, pubs, shops and experiences, we hope every stay helps strengthen the local rural economy while respecting the environment for future generations.
We are equally committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for every guest. Although our historic rural properties have some physical limitations, we believe accessibility starts with openness, honest communication and a willingness to help. By providing clear information before booking and taking the time to understand individual requirements, we aim to ensure every guest can make an informed choice and enjoy a comfortable, memorable stay.
